TITLE:  DoD Directive 6050.4, "Marine Sanitation Devices for Vessels Owned or Operated by the Department of Defense", 03/16/1982

SUMMARY: This Directive reissues DoD Directive 6050.4, October 23, 1979, and implements Section 312 of Public Law 92-500 October 18, 1972, as amended by Public Law 95-217, December 27, 1977, to update policy and procedures governing the design, construction, installation, and operation of marine sanitation devices (MSDs), and procedures for certifying that such devices are consistent with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards prescribed in Environmental Protection Agency, January 29, 1976.
