TITLE:  DoD Directive 6025.18, "Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information in DoD Health Care Programs," 12/19/2002

SUMMARY:  This Directive establishes policy and assigns responsibilities for implementation of the standards for privacy of individually identifiable health information established by Sections 1320a - 1320d-8 of title 42, United States Code and Title 45 of the Code of Federal Regulations,  Parts 160 and 164.  It authorizes the "Privacy Program for Health Information in the DoD Health Care Programs" publication in accordance with DoD 5025.1-M "DoD Directives System Procedures.
