TITLE:  DoD Instruction 5505.11, "Fingerprint Card and Final Disposition Report Submission Requirements", 12/01/1998

SUMMARY: This Instruction: 1. Supersedes Inspector General of the Department of Defense, Criminal Investigations Policy Memorandum Number 10, “Criminal History Data Reporting Requirements,” March 25, 1987 (hereby canceled)  under the authority of Appendix 3 of title 5, United States Code  and DoD Directive 5106.1, “Inspector General of the Department of Defense,” March 14, 1983.

2. Implements policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures under Title 28, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 20, “Criminal Justice Information System” (July 1, 1997)  and Section 534 of title 28, United States Code  for reporting offender criminal history data to the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division of the FBI, by the DoD law enforcement organizations, for inclusion in the National Crime Information Center criminal history databases. This Instruction is not intended to eliminate requirements to provide criminal history data otherwise imposed, including the Defense Incident Based Reporting System.
