TITLE:  DoD Directive 5505.11, "Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs", 05/27/1971

SUMMARY: The purpose of this Directive is to effectuate the provisions of Title VI of the Civil rights Act of 1964 (hereafter referred to as the "Act") to the end that no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal Financial assistance form any component of the Department of Defense.
