TITLE:  DoD Instruction 5210.84, "Security of DoD Personnel at U.S. Missions Abroad", 01/22/1992

SUMMARY: This Instruction: 

1. Disseminates the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of Defense and the Department of State on diplomatic security at United States missions abroad (enclosure 1), and the Attorney General memorandum for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) supervision and conduct of espionage investigations of all U.S. personnel assigned to these missions (enclosure 2). 

2. Designates the Director, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), as the DoD executive Agent for diplomatic security maters addressed in this Instruction.
