TITLE:  DoD Directive 2000.6, "Conduct of Operations in Antarctica", 06/03/1980

SUMMARY: This Directive notifies the Department of Defense that the terms of the Antarctic Treaty, which was signed by the United States and 11 other nations on December 1, 1959, and became effective on June 23, 1961, are to be complied with by all affected DoD Components.
