TITLE:  DoD Directive 2000.12, "DoD Antiterrorism (AT) Program," 8/18/2003

SUMMARY:  This Directive:  1.  Changes the name of the DoD Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Program to the DoD Antiterrorism (AT) Program.  2.  Reissues DoD Directive 2000.12 dated April 13, 1999 to update DoD policies and assigns responsibilities for implementing the procedures for the DoD AT Program, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 134; Unified Command Plan; DoD USS Cole Commission Report, dated January 9, 2001; GAO Report, dated September 9, 2001; Secretary of Defense Memorandum, dated May 9, 2001; and Deputy Secretary of Defense Memorandum, dated August 14, 2001.  3.  Continues to authorize the publication of DoD Instruction 2000.16 and DoD 2000.12-H, pursuant to the requirements of DoD 5025.1-M.
