            The Department of Defense is required by Title 5, United States Code, Section 552(a)(2), as amended, to publish an annual index of final opinions, statements of policy, and staff instructions affecting the public, adopted or promulgated after July 4, 1967.  Requests for these documents should be forwarded to the following responsible offices:
