DELINEATION OF STAFF PRIVILEGES

There are two variables in the delineation of medical staff privileges. The first of these, the allowed scope of practice, is of concern to both hospitals and group practices. The second variable is the classification of staff membership, a scheme developed by the JCAH and of interest only to hospitals.
