SUMMARY: This Administrative Instruction reissues and updates reference Administrative Instruction No. February 25, 1986 (hereby canceled). Implements reference DoD 5200.2-R, "Department of Defense Personnel Security Program, " January 1987,authorized by DoD Directive 5200.2, December 20, 1979. assigns responsibilities and prescribes procedures for administering the Personnel Security Program (PSP) and the Civilian Personnel Suitability Program (CPSP) in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and those activities serviced by the Director, Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), (DoD Directive 5110.4 reference (C)).
