reference Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications,
and Intelligence Memorandum, "Executive Agent for DoD Information Standards,"
September 3, 1991. 2. Assigns responsibilities and authorities to fulfill
Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Officer (CIO) responsibilities,
pursuant to Section 2223 of title 10, United States Code, for developing,
prescribing, and implementing Information Technology (IT), including National
Security Systems (NSS), standards that apply throughout the Department of
Defense. 3. Designates, pursuant to DoD Directive 5101.1, the Director,
