SUMMARY: This Directive reissues DoD Directive 5100.46, October 15, 1964 to update Department of Defense (DoD) policy for the employment of its resources in foreign disaster relief operations, and assigns responsibilities for carrying out this policy. DoD Directive 5100.46, October 15, 1964 is hereby superseded and canceled.
