SUMMARY:  This Directive reissues DoD Directive 5030.49, dated January 6, 1984; Cancels DoD 5030.49-R, dated May 27, 1977; Establishes policy and responsibilities for administering the DoD Customs and Border Clearance Program (CBCP) as part of DoD 4500.9-R, Part V; and Designates the Commander, U.S. Transportation Command as the Executive Agent for the DoD CBCP.
