SUMMARY: This Manual is issued under the authority of DoD Directive 5025.1, "DoD Directives System," July 27, 2000.  It provides guidance for the preparation, coordination, publication, distribution, and review of DoD issuances.

ANNOUNCEMENT:  Change TO Coordination Suspense Date for DoD Directives
The coordination suspense date for a DoD Directive shall be a maximum of 20 working days from the date the Originating Authorizing Official signs the SD Form 106.  For any issuance other than a DoD Directive, no more than 45 working days should be required for coordination.
