Medical and Public Health Law Site TITLE: DoD Directive 5000.57, "Defense Acquisition University",
10/22/1991 SUMMARY: This Directive Implements Section 1746 of reference of Title
10, United States Code and Section 1205 of reference Public Law 101-510, November 5, 1990;
establishes the Defense Acquisition University; provides for a senior course, as part of a
Senior Acquisition Education program, as a substitute for, and equivalent to, existing
senior professional military education. The senior course shall be specifically designed
