Manual," 08/15/2002 SUMMARY: This Manual is reissued under the
authority of DoD Directive 4525.6, "Single Manager for Military Postal Service,"
May 5, 1980. It prescribes uniform procedures and responsibilities for the
administration and operation of the Military Postal Service (MPS). The
changes contained herein are considered too complex to be handled via page
changes. Many portions have been completely revised and require the Manual
to be reviewed in its entirety.
DoD 4525.6-M, "DoD Postal Manual.” Volume I and II, December 28, 1989, is hereby
