SUMMARY:  This supplement is published by direction of the Deputy Secretary of Defense under authority of DoD Directive 4140.1, Materiel Management Policy, and contains ail effective codes as of Februay 16, 1996. The provisions of this supplement were developed based upon Service Agency approval of the automated system for maintaining and disseminating approved MILSTRIP routing identifier (RI) and distribution codes. This system includes central files of RI and distribution codes located at the DLA System Design Center (formerly DAASC), Dayton, OH. The DSDC maintains the central files using data validated/submitted by Service/Agency coordinators and produces this supplement from those files. This supplement is effective immediately.
