SUMMARY: This Instruction establishes DoD policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides procedures for the award and administration of a continuation pay for engineering and scientific officers of the U.S. Armed Forces, consistent with Public Law 97-60, "Uniformed Services Pay Act of 1981," Section 120 and Title 37, United States Code, Section 315.
